No, it's not our Last Will and Testament, but it is our Birthplan. Holly spent the evening putting all of our wishes in black and white.

58:2-27-11 (Adding our touch)
Not wanting to have only store bought decorations, Holly and I made a mobile that now hangs over the changing table.

57:2-26-11 (Shirt Burning)
I'm learning some important things about becoming a parent. Specifically, what attributes are important in clothing.

56:2-25-11 (Going Away)
Holly and I went to dinner with all of my coworkers to wish Nancy farewell and good luck in her new role.

55:2-24-11 (Tiny Laundry)
I cannot believe how long it took to fold all of this. You can't just fold these things like any normal laundry, it's like cloth origami.

54:2-23-11 (Shower...take 2!)
My awesome coworkers threw us a great baby shower! What a great way to avoid some work and have a few laughs.

53:2-22-11 (Happy B-Day Phil!)
Went out to dinner at the Claim Jumper with some friends to celebrate Phil's birthday. Loudest restaurant on the planet.

52:2-21-11 (Out of the Office)
I got out of the office today and visited the largest fuel terminal in the US for some meetings. This is one of the fuel tanks at the location that supplies the majority of Los Angeles.

51:2-20-11 (Goodbye Borders...Hello Going out of Business Sales!)
Holly and I took advantage of the sad state of the literature world and the forthcoming closing of many brick and mortar book stores. We bought a smorgasbord of books for cheap.

50:2-19-11 (Mall Rats)
These poor chaps got dragged to the mall with Coco, Holly and me. I guess I got dragged too...*sigh*.

49:2-18-11 (Play-DOH!)
We invited some peeps over for game night and, boy, am I glad we checked the Cranium Play-doh before the night started. Who'd have thought the salt would actually crystallize...

48:2-17-11 (Night In)
Thursday night in. It was a busy weekend and week (thus far) I got to take advantage of a left over beer while Holly and I just relaxed for the night.

47:2-16-11 (The ABCs of Decorating)
Deep on the hunt for nursery decorations, we discovered that finding the right rug was very, very difficult. This loud option was not selected.

41:2-10-11 (Date Night)
Went to the Spectrum for "Date Night" with Coco and Phil to see The Fighter, and as you can see it hit us hard with the Boxing Bug.
40:2-9-11 (Clueless)
Only 40 days into this P.A.D. and it's getting pretty tough. Here's me trying to think of the special "40th Edition Shot"

39:2-8-11 (Invasion of the Pillow Snatchers)
Cat Factoid: Once these kitties were bitter enemies, but now they join forces and steal Holly's side of the bed the second she gets up.

37:2-6-11 (They're pretty, but don't eat them)
On our way back home from San Luis, we stopped at a place in Pismo Beach that a huge group of Monarchs use as a pit-stop during their migration.

36:2-5-11 (Public Health Hazard...aka Bubble Gum Alley)
I can't believe this place exists and that people come see it. This is Bubble Gum Alley in Downtown San Luis Obispo. I felt like I was catching 300 different BTDs (Bubble Transmitted Diseases) and it smelled of spearmint.

35:2-4-11 (He was a builder....)
After a supremely lazy morning we headed North to Hearst Castle. Pictured here is the main house with a hundred something rooms. They said Hearst was a 'Builder' and many marvelous other things, but he seemed pretty wacky to me.

34:2-3-11 (Babymoon! Now get me a beer....)
I took a couple of days off and we set of on our 'Babymoon' in San Luis Obispo. As we neared S.L.O. Holly reached over and set the GPS to a new destination and surprised me by making the first stop at Central Coast Brewing where the Black Rye IPA was quite tasty. The trip started off on the right foot.

33:2-2-11 (20 Questions)
Holly and I went to an open house at a pediatrician group practice with our Book 'O Questions in hand. Seems like the more questions we ask, the more we think of.

32:2-1-11 (Hit by a truck...)
Well, today marks the day BP announced their plan to divest most of the West Coast....that includes me. Here's my 2nd time around the re-org loop and I don't think I will fare as well this time. Let the uncertainty begin.
